Abstract The accurate titration conditions for polybasic weak acids are one of important problems for studying acid-base titration. Based on the calculations of range of abrupt change in titration curve, the accurate titration conditions for polybasic weak acids were discussed under the different titration end point errors. The results showed that the polybasic weak acids could be titrated accurately by distribution with Kai/Ka(i+1)≥105.0 and cKai≥10-8.7 under the conditions of Et=±0.5% and the range of abrupt change in titration curve for 0.4pH.
