Abstract Based on the teaching practice of chemical engineering, an innovative teaching mode featured by "three modules, two steps and multiple evaluation" was established to optimize teaching practice for basic experiment, and simulate operation and production practice. By optimizing simulation and practical training, introducing simulation practice, setting up open-style simulation platform, the innovative teaching mode achieved good results.
