Abstract The mathematical derivation was carried out on the change law of fractional conversion of reactant with concentrations in reversible equilibrium system under constant temperature and constant volume. The conclusion had been obtained that the fractional conversion might be reduced, unchanged or increased. Besides, the correctness of conclusion was proved by actual examples, in order to avoid errors in classroom teaching and examination papers.
