Taking teaching innovation of application of flavors and essence as an example, this paper designed the teaching contents scientifically and innovated the teaching form, explored preliminarily how to cultivate thinking ability throughout the whole theory teaching and experiment teaching process, how to effectively track in the process of students' autonomous learning in order to strengthen their learning ability and culture their thinking ability. At the same time, this paper researched how to evaluate fairly and impartially of students' autonomous learning effect, and how to scientificly evaluate the degree of learning ability and the level of thinking ability by reforming the examination mode. By the way, this paper summarized the experience of the teaching innovation practice of theory teaching and experiment teaching, and how to reform the cosmetic professional talent training mode.
