Discussion Teaching Practice on Total Entropy Criterion for Spontaneous Process
Abstract This paper applied discussion teaching method to the classroom teaching of physical chemistry, deeply discussed the applicable conditions of total entropy criterion of thermodynamic spontaneous process, and finally summarized important conclusion:the total entropy criterion can only be used to judge the reversibility of the process and not judge the spontaneity of the process directly. In order to further determine the nature of spontaneous process, the total energy exchange between system and environment must be combined with. Through the practice of discussion teaching, students could have a deeper understanding of the applicable conditions of the total entropy criterion of thermodynamic spontaneous process, which could lay a good foundation for the following course study.
Electrical Structures of Reactants Facilitates Memorization of Organic Reactions
According to the bonding styles, organic reactions are classified into three types:free radical reactions, ionic reactions and synergy reactions, and most of the reactions discussed in fundamental organic chemistry belong to ionic reactions. If the charge distribution especially at the nucleophilic sites and the electrical sites in the reactants were appreciated, it would not only help students understand the mechanisms and memorize the reactions discussed in the textbook, but also help to deduce the reactions not discussed before.
Situational Teaching Method for Polymer Chemistry
This paper discussed situational teaching mode of polymor chemistry based on situation representations with graphic image, animation, experiments and discipline history. The situational teaching mode can help students understand the extension and connotation of knowledge, promote students' learning interests, improve their professional ability and acquire the scientific method to obtain new knowledge.
Simulative Experiment of Automated Synthesis of 18/19F-Radiopharmaceuticals
Radiopharmaceuticals is one of the core technologies of positron emission tomography (PET) for diagnostic imaging of various diseases. To make the 18F (T1/2=110 min) labeled radiopharmaceuticals available for imaging, a rapid, efficient and automated preparation process is required. With the rapid development of PET technology, there is a strong demand for radiopharmaceutical professionals all over the world. In order to cultivate students' interests in radiochemical labeling technology and popularize the knowledge of radiopharmaceuticals, teachers transformed scientific research on labeling 18F processes into an unique teaching practice funded by national 973 and 863 programs. Since 2012, a course entitled "chemical comprehensive design experiment for undergraduate students", a simulative experiment of 18/19F-radiopharmaceutical automated synthesis has been designed and enrolled students majored in chemistry. The teaching experiment was completed by the self-developed auto-synthesizer, Synth8 box, that simulated the synthesis of PET radiopharmaceuticals via electronically controlled valves. The box could be disassembled and assembled by students easily. To avoid handling the radioactive 18F, none radioactive 19F processes were carried out by the Synth8 box. Then, the product was analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively by TLC and LC-MS/MS. This course was closely integrated with the practical application of radiopharmaceuticals and transformed the latest scientific research achievements into teaching practice effectively. This experiment expanded the concept of scientific research for undergraduate students, through which it effectively cultivated and stimulated their scientific research literacy and ability. In the past few years, undergraduate students have actively enrolled and enthusiastically contributed to this course. The students always evaluated the course highly.

Preparation and Characterization of Bio-Adsorbent and Study on Adsorption of Cu2+ in Water
This paper introduced a comprehensive experiment of physical chemistry and analytical chemistry:study on the adsorption of Cu2+ in water by bio-adsorbent. This experiment prepared biomass adsorbent which were analyzed by infrared spectrometer. The effect of pH,time and temperature on the adsorption of of Cu2+ was investigated, and absorption mechanism was studied. This experiment involved the surface adsorption principle of physical chemistry, the application of analysis methods of analytical chemistry, the use of large-scale instruments and some of data processing method, which could not only exercise the students' practical operating ability, but also improve the students' ability to analyze the experimental data.
Teaching Design of Acid-Base Neutralization Titration Based on Theory of MERs
This paper put forward the teaching design of acid-base neutralization titration based on the theory of MERs, setting experimental situation for acid-base neutralization titration, introducing the concept and principle of acid-base neutralization titration and burettes, selecting indicator, demonstrating the experiment and explaining acid-base neutralization titration with NetLogo. The results showed that it could help higher vocational students better understand the knowledge of acid-base neutralization titration.
Teaching Reform of Application of Flavors and Essence Based on Cultivating Thinking Ability
Taking teaching innovation of application of flavors and essence as an example, this paper designed the teaching contents scientifically and innovated the teaching form, explored preliminarily how to cultivate thinking ability throughout the whole theory teaching and experiment teaching process, how to effectively track in the process of students' autonomous learning in order to strengthen their learning ability and culture their thinking ability. At the same time, this paper researched how to evaluate fairly and impartially of students' autonomous learning effect, and how to scientificly evaluate the degree of learning ability and the level of thinking ability by reforming the examination mode. By the way, this paper summarized the experience of the teaching innovation practice of theory teaching and experiment teaching, and how to reform the cosmetic professional talent training mode.

Application of HPLC in Teachingof Instrumental Analysis Experiment
HPLC method for determination of sophoricoside was established and was applied in the teaching process of instrumental analysis experiment for medical laboratory students. By introduction of the principle of HPLC, experiment operation, experiment report writing, laboratories visiting, animation demo of components of HPLC and discussion on relevant knowledge, students could not only master the basic theory and operation of HPLC, but also improve interests and independence in learning. It also improved teaching quality of instrumental analysis experiment.
Comparative Analysis on Effect of Separating Carotene with Magnesium and Alumina Column Chromatography
This study compared the effects of separating carotene with column chromatography to select the better absorbing material between magnesia and alumina. The dried powder of magnesia and alumina as the absorbent separately were analyzed to detach the carotene from spinach leaves. Two methods both showed three bands:carotene, chlorophyll a, chlorophyll b. But each band, especially the carotene band, was more compacted, orderliness, and the edge showed clearer in magnesia experiment than in alumina experiment. Therefore, the magnesia is the better than the alumina as a kind of absorbing material for column chromatograph to separate carotene.

Ab Initio Calculations on Nature of Interaction of Thiophene with Six Kinds of Hydrides
The nature of interactions of thiophene with six kinds of hydrides (Y) (Y=HF, HCl, H2O, H2S, NH3, PH3) was investigated using ab initio calculations at MP2/aug-cc-pVDZ theoretical level. In contrast with the previous results on similar furan complexes, only the H-pi type complex was observed for thiophene. Variations in complexes geometry can be accounted for the differences in the electrostatic potential on the aromatic ring. To further study the nature of the intermolecular interactions, a Symmetry-Adapted Perturbation Theory (SAPT) energy decomposition analysis was carried out and the results indicated that the dispersion and electrostatic interactions dominate the thiophene complexes.
