Abstract An interesting physical chemistry experiment "adsorption of Prussian blue in wastewater by cotton stalk" was designed and implemented. Students could understand the surface phenomenon, influence factors of adsorption process, kinetics and thermodynamics of adsorption through this experiment. This experiment achieved remarkable teaching effectiveness, and cultivated students' innovative spirit and practical ability.
