Abstract Through concluding the types of the teaching confusion of novice chemistry teachers as free normal students, producing survey questionnaires, interviewing and in-depth researching, this paper clarified the measures to solve common teaching perplexity and recognition of novice teachers as free normal students. It provides references for cultivation of normal students in Normal Colleges, the implementation of free normal education curriculum for the master of education, and the training of the novice teachers as free normal students.
