Abstract The key point of the teaching design of "chemical bond" was to arrange the teaching contents reasonably, to set good learning situation and to put forward challenging problems. This paper selected 9 high-quality classes of senior high school chemistry in 2014 in Jiangsu province, and made qualitative comparison from selection of teaching contents, situation setting and guidance of teaching process and so on.
