Abstract This paper discussed the working point and the main teaching problems of MOOC construction by taking the construction and teaching practice of inorganic and analytical chemistry MOOC as an example. Purposeful and oriented MOOC construction and teaching practice were carried out. New curriculum teaching system based on students' self-learning was structured. Students would obtain the autonomy of learning by the improvement of teaching method and examination.
