Abstract The teaching process of inquiry teaching mode of pharmaceutical preparation engineering was practiced and improved through designing and implementing the three stages of teaching flowchart. Meantime, the teaching effect of inquiry teaching mode was evaluated by constructing the quantitative evaluation index, the tripartite evaluation and questionnaire. Finally, the further suggestions were given for the existing problems.
