Abstract Exploring the effect of concentration on a reaction rate is a classic foundation experiment in both China and overseas. The experiments have the similar content while the teaching methods are quite different. The teaching cases of China tended to reach the chemistry conclusion by experiments simply,while those of Britain and America focused on the procedure and method of the experiment:designing the controlled variables,statistically analyzing the data with plotting graphs,emphasizing on the post-experiment procedure and consolidating the behavior process of experiment teaching in evaluation.
