This paper focused on organic compounds, constructed composition model of chemistry discipline core literacy and performance expectations, revealed the development of chemistry discipline core literacy, and constructed learning quality level. Then this study developed assessment tool based on Rasch model, explored the performance of learning quality and chemistry discipline core literacy in organic compounds under the current curriculum and teaching. It contributed to the organic compounds instruction of improving chemistry discipline core literacy.

This paper is a case of high school organic chemistry teaching in the background of the new curriculum standard guided by competences development and the theory of project based learning.The project focuses on exploring the mysterious medical adhesives, functional oriented structural design and synthesis are main project learning activities.This paper presents the teaching design and practice process of module review by project learning, summarizes the ideas and strategies of theme demonstration and determination, activity planning and design, context material selection and presentation, provides reference for teachers to carry out project teaching practice.

This paper designed and implemented a literacy-oriented project teaching:Exploring the Magical Medical Adhesives. From the perspective of teachers' behavior, analyzed the project teaching video by coding, and three key processes, seven types of high-frequency behaviors, and seven types of high-frequency and secondary-high frequency problems were identified. Watched the video again based on the coding results, this paper discussed how teachers could help students obtain cognitive perspective and paths through high-frequency behavior types, high-frequency and secondary-high frequency problem types in this project to help the development of students' chemistry discipline core literacy.

Taking the chemical reaction principle of water purification by alum as an example,this paper focused on analyzing the seven teaching connections in "chemistry 1" for high school,and then briefly introduced the teaching connection in two elective modules "Chemistry and Life" and "Principle of Chemical Reaction". Using mind map,model diagram,concept map,flow chart and other graphic thinking teaching methods,we could carry out knowledge linking teaching,which was helpful to strengthen students' subject understanding ability and cultivate their chemical core literacy.

The aim of this study was to investigate how 561 grade 10th students from six different senior high schools in Guangzhou learn oxidation-reduction reaction by applying Knowledge Space Theory. The result showed that:(1) Students from different schools had learning difficult in core knowledge. Significant differences were found in the scores of different schools. (2) Large differences in the numbers of knowledge state and the structure of knowledge space were found. (3) Some school students' critical learning paths were similar to expert's critical learning path, but the others were not. This paper also discussed the method of applying knowledge space theory to promote high school students to study scientific principles.

This paper probed high school students' learning about the content of saline hydrolysis by using the two-tier diagnostic tests and semi-structured interviews,and comprehend their mental models about definition and nature of saline hydrolysis,writing in hydrolysis reaction equation,judging acid-base property of salt solution,influence factors of saline hydrolysis,applying three conservation laws in saline hydrolysis and application of saline hydrolysis,such as interedependency model,misconceptions model,thinking-set model,macro-micro-symbol cognitive bias model and so on. At last,this paper put forward relevant teaching suggestions for teachers.

Exploring the effect of concentration on a reaction rate is a classic foundation experiment in both China and overseas. The experiments have the similar content while the teaching methods are quite different. The teaching cases of China tended to reach the chemistry conclusion by experiments simply,while those of Britain and America focused on the procedure and method of the experiment:designing the controlled variables,statistically analyzing the data with plotting graphs,emphasizing on the post-experiment procedure and consolidating the behavior process of experiment teaching in evaluation.

Based on this idea, the college of chemistry of Jilin Normal University in cooperation with Kindergarten Attached to Jilin Normal University carried out the course named "I am a little magician". Firstly,this paper deeply analyzed the chemical process in chlorine water system,aimed to clear the chlorine water was composed of a variety of molecules,ions and free radicals in the complex redox system; secondly,designed six experiments for scientific inquiry on chlorine bleaching effect under different conditions,and gave a reasonable explanation for the experimental results; finally,scientifically summed up the bleaching effect of chlorine water was a process of multiple components of synergy with many influence factors,but the "hero" was still hypochlorous acid,and gave corresponding scientific explanation.

The copper hydroxide prepared during the experiment teaching became black when placed at room temperature. Through experimental exploration, this paper verified the reaction mechanism of copper hydroxide decomposition in solution and the factors that influenced the decomposition rate, and got the conclusion that the higher the temperature, the stronger the alkalinity, the faster the decomposition of copper hydroxide. Then this paper summarized the characteristics of copper hydroxide decomposition.

In the national high school chemistry competitions, organic chemistry has always been an important part of the competitions, which is quite difficult. Therefore, based on analysis of the questions in the national high school chemistry competitions, this paper expounds the learning methods of three modules:elementary organic reactions, theories in organic chemistry, reaction mechanisms, and also summarized the solution methods of induction, backstepping and comprehensive analysis to help students improve competition performance within a short period of time.
