Abstract Due to the huge differences in learning methods between senior high school and university,it is difficult for students to adapt rapidly to the teaching of university inorganic chemistry.In this paper,the connection of senior high school and university chemistry teaching was researched,taking atomic structure as an example.Through the link of getting the right entry point,raising question,initial learning the basic knowledge,detailed explaining the principle and practicing exercises,the transition and connection of knowledge can be smoothly realized,and the ability of independent thinking and autonomous study are also cultivated.
