Abstract This paper introduced and analyzed several typical cases involving interdisciplinary contents in mainstream textbook Chemistry:Concepts and Application for American high school. Combined with the perspective of the current basic education curriculum reform of our country, this paper drew a number of implications for the practice of curriculum reform, and provided a reference for the selection and application of the contents in teaching.
