Abstract This paper improved the experimental operation methods of testing product of candle burning, using a transparent cylindrical plastic bottle without a bottom, 90 degrees spherical drying tube with curved tail pipe, etc. Obvious experimental phenomena could be observed:Water mist appeared quickly on the plastic bottle wall and in the empty drying pipe, and lime water became turbid, which illustrated the products of candle burning were water and carbon dioxide.
