Abstract According to the characteristics of experimental chemistry curriculum, this paper attempted to discuss the teaching design of flipped classroom, including transferring of pre-class knowledge, understanding of classroom knowledge and post-class reflection. Based on the case of ammonium ferrous sulfate, the student-centered teaching has been implemented in the process of the flipped classroom. And through teaching design in three aspects of learning objectives, active subjects and instructional process, the teaching practice of flipped classroom has been comprehensively evaluated.
