Abstract This paper studied the PCK about "chemical equilibrium" of seven senior chemistry teachers based on the CoRe tools, and the results showed that the overall performance of seven teachers listed as follows:PCK was particularly prominent in the three dimensions of course knowledge, students' knowledge and teaching strategy; PCK in the dimension of content knowledge was strongly influenced by the teaching material;PCK in the evaluation of knowledge dimension paid more emphasis on the classroom questions and formative evaluation. Teachers' PCK development in this field not only needs to combine the awareness to cultivate students' thinking with relevant teaching strategies,but also needs to integrate teaching goals and teaching evaluation methods.
