Abstract Due to some of the unreasonable simplification and conclusion in some textbooks and literatures for the calculation of abrupt change range when weak acid is titrated, a more accurate formula was deduced by taking account of the actual composition of the solution near the stoichiometric point,and the criteria for the accurate titration of weak acid was obtained.
