Abstract Taking papers from Chinese Journal of Chemical Education as the research object from 2000 to 2018, with the visual analysis and knowledge mapping, this paper shows a research context of Chinese high school chemical education. It provides a useful reference for the follow-up research and practice by grasping its research focus and development trend as a whole.
