Abstract The topic of chemical equilibrium is used as research carrier, the SOLO classification evaluation theory is used to assign points to the students’ mind-switching process, and the paper-pencil test method is used to evaluate students’ ability to switch between multiple representations. According to the investigation results, this paper put forward corresponding suggestions, and provides reference for teachers’ teaching of chemical equilibrium and students’ improvement of core literacy.
