Abstract Integrating the chemistry knowledge, real life and research focus of discipline frontier, this paper developed and implemented an innovative experiment course of “the Preparation and Use of Mg(OH)2 Nanomaterials in the Treatment of Heavy Metal Wastewater”. The course included such sections as literature research, project design, experimental operation, result and discussion and paper writing. These will contribute to arouse the innovation potential and cultivate the innovation literacy and responsibility consciousness.
