This paper analyzes the status of metal knowledge in the middle school entrance examination and textbooks. In view of the problems existing in the current unit review teaching, according to the principle of the consistency of teaching, learning and evaluation, the unit review of “metal knowledge” is centered on the “staple” as the main clue in the inquiry activity. By doing so, we can stimulate students’ interest in learning, optimize the student unit’s knowledge structure, develop students’ ability to analyze and solve problems, and improve students’ understanding of the value of the subject.
Application of Real-Scene Teaching Method for Development of Core Competences in Chemistry: Rebirth of Sewage
The “internet” is utilized in the real-scene course “Rebirth of Sewage” to connect the sewage treatment plant, so that the students in the classroom can see the sewage treatment process. Meanwhile, students, technicians, real-scene teachers and teachers in classroom could interact with each other in real time. Through the practical teaching, experimental simulation, role-playing and other approaches, theoretical knowledge, chemical technology and life practice are integrated to be a system, which could cultivates students’ scientific ethic and rigorous scientific spirit. Therefore, students can understand chemistry and life in practice. An awareness of “environmental protection” among students is formed from the close relationship between the environment and society. The concept of “green chemistry” is transmitted to them and their social responsibilities are enhanced from the real-scene course.

From Core Literacy of Chemistry to Students’ Learning Activities:Teaching of “Air” Based on Evidential Reasoning and Model Cognition
Taking student activities as the carrier and using performance evaluation, it is helpful to the formation of students’ core literacy. According to the connotation of “expressive evaluation” and “evidential reasoning and model cognition”, the performance assessment rubric is put forward from four dimensions: obtaining reasoning evidence, evidence-based reasoning, establishing cognitive model and model-based cognition;and the expressive task is designed according to the teaching content of the first lesson of “air”. Taking the teaching of the first lesson of “air” as an example, this paper focuses on the process of teachers based on the performance assessment rubric, observing students’ classroom performance, evaluating students’ accomplishment and adjusting teaching in time.
Analytic Hierarchy Process Applied in the Evaluation of Teaching Ability of Middle School Chemistry Teachers
This paper revised the index system by expert interview and questionnaire survey, which was constructed by HUANG Mei’s team in School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Southwest University. Then this paper determined the weight by Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) in decision-making technology. Finally, the index system was used to evaluate the performance of each contestant in the chemistry teachers’ teaching contest. The result showed that the index system can effectively evaluate the teaching ability of chemistry teachers.
New Perspective of Construction of Basic Discipline Concept in Senior High School Chemistry
We understood the current development situation of senior high school students’ chemical science concepts by the quantitative analysis on the questionnaire. Based on comparing with the difference and relevance of the disciplines and the concept development standards at present, this paper analyzed its influence factors, and then put forward the new perspective of the basic discipline concept construction on senior high school chemistry combined with the elements of chemistry discipline core literacy.

Experiment Design and Practice of Supercapacitor: Electrochemical Energy Storage Devices in Green Chemistry
The supercapacitor experiment was used as an example to illustrate the basic design ideas for converting scientific research of green chemistry into innovative teaching. The working principle and assembly process of two types of supercapacitors (Electric Double-Layer Capacitor (EDLC) and Faraday Pseudocapacitor) and tested performance via cyclic voltammetry (CV) and galvanostatic charge-discharge (GCD) had been studied. Finally, the differences between the two were summarized by analyzing the cyclic volt-ampere curve, specific capacitance, energy density and power density. The practical results showed that the electrochemical basics and scientific research had been connected successfully, which allowed students to gain additional insight into the concepts and principles of electrochemistry and receive valuable hands-on experiences on clean energy storage devices. Furthermore, students’ green chemistry literacy also had been enhanced in the process of learning.

Explore the Accidental Phenomena of Glowing Copper Wire into Dilute Sulphuric Acid
By means of the studying on the accidental phenomena when the glowing copper wire was put into the dilute sulphuric acid, this paper found the causes of the accidental phenomena: (1)The H2SO4 molecule was escaping and forming the white fog when the dilute sulphuric acid was scorching heated partly; (2)The CuO and Cu2O came from the Cu scorching heated; (3)The CuO was dissolved in the dilute sulphuric acid rapidly and the copper sulphate was produced, but the muddy liquid was hardly observed the blue color in a short time, because the quantity of copper sulphate was very little; (4)The Cu2O was dropped in the dilute sulphuric acid, but its dissolving speed slew down, because the concentration of sulfuric acid decreased due to the escape of sulfuric acid molecules and the consumption of sulfuric acid by CuO, so Cu2O could exist in the dilute sulphuric acid momentarily.
