Abstract By means of the studying on the accidental phenomena when the glowing copper wire was put into the dilute sulphuric acid, this paper found the causes of the accidental phenomena: (1)The H2SO4 molecule was escaping and forming the white fog when the dilute sulphuric acid was scorching heated partly; (2)The CuO and Cu2O came from the Cu scorching heated; (3)The CuO was dissolved in the dilute sulphuric acid rapidly and the copper sulphate was produced, but the muddy liquid was hardly observed the blue color in a short time, because the quantity of copper sulphate was very little; (4)The Cu2O was dropped in the dilute sulphuric acid, but its dissolving speed slew down, because the concentration of sulfuric acid decreased due to the escape of sulfuric acid molecules and the consumption of sulfuric acid by CuO, so Cu2O could exist in the dilute sulphuric acid momentarily.
