Abstract A comprehensive chemical experiment on preparation, characterization and performance of NH2-UiO-66(Zr) for photocatalytic reduction of Cr(Ⅵ) was designed. This experiment involves organic synthesis, solvothermal preparation, instrumental utilization, chemical analysis, and chemical kinetics, which covers four basic chemistry experiments in chemistry major at advanced education levels and realizes the integration of these basic chemistry experiments. This experiment can guide students to explore the intrinsic link of chemistry disciplines, and facilitate subsequent research and scientific innovation experiments. Meanwhile, the introduction of photocatalysis principles and other advanced technologies into experimental teaching can attract the students' interests in learning chemistry knowledge, independent thinking, and exploring innovation, which is beneficial to the cultivation of innovative talents in chemistry major.
