Abstract In view of the shortcomings of the flame reaction teaching, the hand-held technology TQVC concept cognitive model is used as the theoretical basis, at the perspective of “mixed and quantitative”, the digital experiment of the hand-held technology is designed to promote students' cognition of the concept of flame reaction. This study uses a spectrophotometer sensor to detect the NaCl and KCl in the mixed liquid from both qualitative and quantitative aspects by measuring the wavelength and light intensity of the flame emission spectrum, helping students understand the essence of flame reaction from the perspective of the combination of macro and micro.
