With the theme of “the guide to the use of 84 disinfectant”, the teaching of “the nature of hypochlorite” in senior high school chemistry was carried out. Students try to understand the nature and bleaching principle of hypochlorite by completing the following five tasks: “one picture to explain the disinfectant” “explore the relationship between the bleaching effect of 84 disinfectant and the pH value” “explore the relationship between the bleaching effect of 84 disinfectant and light” “the relationship between the bleaching effect of 84 disinfectant and temperature” and “will there be chlorine gas in the mixture of 84 disinfectant and alcohol”, It has trained the students' ability of literature search, experiment ability and the development of students' high-order thinking ability. The key to successfully complete the project teaching is the combination of literature review and students' experiments, in this way, students can complete the internalization of hypochlorite properties and other related knowledge in solving real problems.

Because of its characteristics of constructiveness, interactivity and intuitiveness, thinking visualization presents certain advantages in improving higher-order thinking in chemistry. Possible ways of using visualization tools to develop higher-order thinking in chemistry include: using the double bubble map to develop comparative thinking, using the tree map or concept map to develop structured thinking, using the flow map and brace map to develop generalized thinking, and using the multi-flow map or fishbone diagram to develop causal logic thinking. In chemistry teaching, giving full play to the functions of thinking visualization tools, such as “inducing”“adding”“distinguishing”and “reflecting and sorting”, and infiltrating the training of higher-order thinking into the teaching of concepts, principles and problem solving, it is expected to realize the leap from idea to practice in the development of higher-order thinking in chemistry.

Show Abstract ( 29 )
A questionnaire of the present situation of high school students' chemistry learning achievement motivation level was compiled on the basis of chemistry characteristics and revising the AMS. Questionnaire and interview method were used to investigate the current level of high school students' achievement motivation in chemistry learning. The results show that it is at a medium high level under the new course reform. There are significant differences in the level of chemistry learning motivation among students of different genders and academic achievements. When facing the chemistry learning task that measures one's own ability, students have the highest level of motivation to pursue success and the lowest level of motivation to avoid failure. But when facing with uncertain chemistry learning tasks, the opposite is true. Compared with chemistry exercises, students have higher level of achievement motivation while facing chemical experiments and scientific inquiry activities. Based on this, inspirations for motivating and training high school students' chemistry learning achievement motivation are proposed.

The equilibrium of precipitation and dissolution of insoluble silver halide electrolyte is a key point in middle school chemistry teaching. The MXLab21 advanced digital experimental system developed by our project team cooperated with the silver-sulfur ion electrode to explore the precipitation curves of Cl-, Br-, I- and their mixed ions with AgNO3 solution as titrant. The precipitation curves presented the change of electromotive force (E) with AgNO3 solution volume (V). The precipitation curves of three kinds of single ions could directly reflect the relationship between titration E jump range and solubility product of the corresponding precipitation and the change rule of titration E jump range. Through the precipitation curves of mixed ions, the feasibility of step by step precipitation was explored in the case of the mixture of two or three ions. The establishment of dynamic E-V curves of the precipitation and step-by-step precipitation of Cl-, Br-, I- plays an important role in middle school chemistry teaching, and is of great value to the development and cultivation of the core quality of chemistry.

Brønsted acid-base theory is one of the most important modular in general chemistry, which usually begins from aqueous solution of weak acids. This theory will be endowed with expanded application if all proton compounds are considered. If so, the Ka value will expand more than 100 orders of magnitude. The evaluation of the “strongest” acid or base is a common topic among students, which provides a nice chance to introduce the concepts of superacid and superbase for students. These concepts will expand the knowledge horizon of students, meanwhile deepen the understanding of Brønsted acid-base theory, which helps the study of analysis chemistry, inorganic and organic chemistry in the future.
