Abstract Derived from life sciences, medicine has been witnessing the development of chemistry and benefiting from it a lot, because chemical mechanisms are often revealed during medical studies. Meanwhile, countless discoveries of materials and invention of techniques in chemistry field have been applied to the development of medicine. Therefore, understanding and discussing over the physiology-related and medicine-related questions will deepen students' comprehension on basic chemistry theories, enhancing students' ability of applying chemistry theories to practice. By taking dentistry as an example, this paper introduced and integrated medical concepts and knowledge into fundamental chemistry education, trying to discuss concerned questions in inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry and polymer chemistry from a unique angle. Hope to provide materials and insights for different fields.
