Show Abstract ( 26 )
Bloodstain examination is one of the most common and important forensic evidence identification. Many chemical theories and technologies are involved in the presumptive and confirmatory tests for bloodstains. More specifically, presumptive tests based on catalytic properties of hemoglobin cover the chromogenic or luminous reactions of phenolphthalein, benzidine and its derivatives, leucomalachite green, fluorescein, and luminol; while confirmatory tests based on coordinate properties of heme in hemoglobin cover the crystal formation of hemin and pyridine hemochromogen. Through systematizating the above content, education and teaching concerning analytical chemistry are greatly enriched.

A systematic and integrated experiment including “polycrystalline powder synthesis→phase analysis →crystal growth→material characterization” was established to improve the students' comprehensive and analytical ability. The basic knowledge of crystallography was involved during practical crystal growth process. On one hand, the effect of crystal growth dynamics factors (such as supersaturation, temperature and material diffusion) on crystal growth habits and morphology can be interpreted more deeply. On the other hand, the students can learn some important methods of material characterization. Moreover, the basic theory of crystal structure can be mastered. Importantly, the capability of applying theoretical knowledge to practice was improved and a research approach with systematic science principle can be learned through this experiment at last.

This paper outlines the application of the multi-dimensional classroom teaching mode and the example-oriented research-based teaching design in the colloidal dispersion section of the medical basic chemistry course. For our university, this part will be described from the beginning of the first semester, so this part of the content is more difficult for the students who do not have the perfect self-learning ability. Therefore, we designed a variety of examples that are closely related to medical content and contain the important concepts in this chapter, at the same time, we selected some knowledge points and invited clinical department teachers to record the micro-classes, and show these two parts to students at the appropriate time. The results show that this combined teaching mode helps to increase students' interest in learning and mobilize their concentration of learning, and they master the core chapter concepts and knowledge within a limited period of time, which will lay a solid foundation for the subsequent study of physical chemistry and inorganic chemistry.

The environmental chemistry course plays an important role in improving students' understanding of environmental pollution and practical ability of pollution control. The “trinity” course objectives was reconstructed based on curriculum ideology and politics. According to the characteristics of the course content, the ideological and political points were excavated based on various aspects, including the cultivation of the correct view of environment and environmental pollution, the scientific literacy establishment of analyzing and solving problem correctly, the formation of good environmental protection habits, and so on. A comprehensive organic integration system of ideological and political elements and course teaching was then constructed in detail. Also, a three-dimensional teaching model was build via the drip irrigation infiltration of the ideological and political elements. The analysis results of practice effect suggested that the organic integration and accurate docking of ideological and political connotation in the teaching of environmental chemistry could be achieved according to the teaching design with the obvious ideological and political characteristics. The same frequency resonance of ability improvement and value building could be improved in the student-centered flipped classroom. The students' sense of learning gain and literacy ability have been greatly improved, so as the integrated learning goal of “accomplishment + ability +knowledge” have been realized well. Among them, teachers' scientific research feed-back teaching can trigger students' enthusiasm for learning and willingness to expand practice. Therefore, in the course ideological and political education, we should fully pay attention to the example effect of teachers around us on students.

Instrumental analysis course is an important experimental course for cultivating innovative talents in universities. In order to solve the problems of students' weak foundation, weak operational ability, and poor classroom teaching efficiency and effect in experimental learning process, this study designed and developed a WeChat mini program APP to assist students in experimental learning. The main functions of APP include learning resource presentation, instrument operation guide and experimental interactive exploration. This study also conducted an effect study by means of observation, interview and questionnaire. The research results show that the learning resources, experimental operation and experimental inquiry functions of mobile learning APP can effectively help non-chemistry students to conduct experimental learning, reduce the teaching pressure of teachers, and lower the cognitive load of students in using the APP.

By using convenient sampling method, 210 national maritime nuclear, biological and chemical emergency rescue team members were randomly selected for questionnaire survey and 10 commanders were interviewed. The paper presentedthe current situation and demands of the emergency rescue training for chemical carrier leakage accidents, find out the problems existing in the training and to conduct attribution analysis andprovide countermeasures and suggestions for scientific organization of the training. The results of the survey were analyzed by SPSS 24.0 and Excel 2016 software. The results show thatthe national maritime nuclear, biological and chemical emergency rescue team members participate in training mainly in the form of centralized training within their own units, the content of which is mostly knowledge and skills. The content of follow-up training focuses on capacity enhancement and concept updating. The trainingtime is mainly 20~40 class hours, and the training form is mainly business discussion and visiting internship. The method is mainly operation demonstration, pair experience teaching and simulated post practice. At present, there are mainly problems such as insufficient understanding, lagging concept, inadequate incentive and evaluation mechanism. The restrictive factors include activity design, site equipment, quality and efficiency evaluation, participation consciousness, etc. It is suggested to guide participation actively in training, determine goals scientifically, improve matching degree of training contents, establish incentive mechanisms and improve training quality and effectiveness.

A new method for the calculation of liquid junction potentials has been proposed according to the idea that the net charge across the liquid junction is zero when the liquid junction potential is in steady state. Calculations of three kinds of liquid junction potentials, especially for the derivation of the Lewis-Sargent formula and the Henderson equation, are clear and understandable, and problems existing in the previous methods for the calculation of liquid junction potentials are avoided. The method proposed herein can provide a reference for teaching related to liquid junction potentials.
