Abstract Based on the combination of two platforms, namely intelligent teaching tool “Rain Classroom” as the main platform and “Tencent Classroom” as the auxiliary platform, this paper utilizes the excellent teaching interactions and the function of recording performance in learning activities' in the whole cycle of “Rain Classroom” combines the advantages of little display latency in the peak hours of webcast and voice interactions between teachers and students of “Tencent Classroom”, gives full play to the teaching concept of “students as the center”, explores the online teaching mode design of organic chemistry courses, and carries out extensive practice in the teaching classes. The practice has proven that the combined teaching mode of double platforms proposed in this paper can ensure the teaching quality, stimulate students' learning interests, and improve students' learning outcomes.
