Abstract The Ph.D.CEP program, initiated in 1999, is the original creation of MIT. The model of this program is relatively new, and also typical and representative. It breaks the constraints of the binary-division paradigm from the pendulum phenomenon, and attains goal of multi-paradigm-integration. In practice, the multi-integrated logic is characterized by historical origins, education objective, content and approaches. Under the background of the fierce competition in the new industrial revolution, we can break the binary-division paradigm and build new mechanical postgraduate student cultivating mode by renewing talent cultivating ideas, training cross-discipline teaching staff and constructing university-enterprise cooperation mechanism etc.
