Abstract In this paper,a comprehensive chemistry experiment, the synthesis method of organic conjugated molecule with excited-state intramolecular proton transfer (ESIPT) and the solvofluorochromism effect was introduced. In this experiment, the students will master the preparation and characterization methods of these types of organic molecules. At the same time, the students will further deepen the understanding of photoluminescence, and grasp the testing and analyzing of fluorescence and photophysical properties. By measuring the fluorescence spectra of ESIPT organic molecules in different solvents, the students can understand the solvofluorochromism effect more intuitively and think about the underlying mechanisms.
