Abstract This paper improved the experiment of “combustion conditions” in chemistry textbook published by People's Education Press. Water bath heating, temperature sensor, nitrogen atmosphere protection and portable oxygen cylinder were introduced for innovation. The improved experiment was highly efficient, scientific and environmental friendly.
