Abstract The construction of the graduate course-based ideological and political education affects the quality of graduate education, and is related to whether the fundamental task of graduate training can be completed. This paper introduces the successful experience of the construction of the graduate course-based ideological and political education depending on the discipline characteristics of the College of Chemistry at Jilin University. It also discusses the future direction of the course-based ideological and political education.
