Abstract Experimental teaching plays an important role in the talent training system of chemistry discipline. The chemistry discipline of Jilin University has developed for 70 years. While inheriting the teaching tradition of “enhanced foundation, strong ability, and emphasis on practice”, we conform to the development of the times and build a new “two-stage, three-level” basic experimental teaching system, integrating into the new teaching content. Under the guidance of advanced educational concepts, a multi-level basic experimental course system that satisfies individualized and differentiated teaching has been constructed to improve students’ experimental ability and comprehensive quality in an all-round way.
