Abstract Chemistry is a creative fundamental science, which is the basis of environment, life, medicine, materials and other sciences. It shows and contains novel scientific thinking methods in thinking logic. Systematically summarizing the thinking methods of chemical science can effectively solve the “complexity, difficulty and chaos” in middle school chemistry learning. In many years of teaching practice, we have put forward the multi-directional thinking method system of chemical science, focusing on the three-dimensional logical thinking discrimination of multi factors in the process of multi-level thinking. This paper focuses on the connotation of the discrimination of zero order, primary order, medium order and high-order logical thinking related to middle school chemistry teaching, and expects to emphasize the logical process of chemical thinking in chemistry teaching to realize the deep development and improvement of chemical teaching and learning in thinking mode.
