Abstract The polymer materials and engineering major of Ludong University takes the promotion of new engineering disciplines construction as an opportunity and engineering education certification as a starting point, constantly strengthen the major connotation construction and process management. The major has established an output oriented evaluation mechanism for the achievement of curriculum objectives and satisfactory result have been achieved. The present study describes the establishment and implementation method of the evaluation mechanism for the achievement of curriculum objectives, and takes the evaluation of achievement of curriculum objectives of polymer chemistry as an example for the interpretation. The research has certain reference significance for the evaluation of achievement of curriculum objectives of polymer materials and engineering and other majors.
