Abstract The results of frontier scientific research are introduced into the course of synthesized experiment for material chemistry: YVO4:Eu3+ nanomaterials were synthesized with the condition of microwave radiation assisted heating, and the nanomaterials were characterized. The aqueous sol of the material shows strong fluorescence with UV excitation, which can be used as fluorescent ink for printing and writing in the field of security and anti-counterfeiting. The experiment candeepen students’ attention to the new material research, stimulate students’ interests in scientific research, cultivate students’ innovative ability and independent learning ability while cultivating students’ practical experiment ability.
