Abstract Using the application of Na2CO3 and NaHCO3 in life, this paper creates situations to recognize their differences in nature. Based on the existing cognition of the chemical properties of Na2CO3, this paper carries out the prediction and experimental verification of the chemical properties of NaHCO3, guides students to build ideas and methods for analyzing and studying the properties of substances from the perspective of constituent particles and substance categories, and pays attention to the development of students’ logical reasoning ability, highlights the guiding function of core concepts on the learning of elements and compounds, and transforms knowledge into literacy.
