Abstract At present, there are some deficiencies in the experiments involving the preparation and properties of chlorine gas in chemistry textbooks, such as large amount of reactants, long reaction time, separate reactions and large environmental pollution. Therefore, based on the traditional experiments and the existing improved experiments, the integrated design of chlorine gas preparation, bleaching, acidity, oxidation and other multi-properties test and exhaust gas treatment is not only easy to operate, effectively reduce the amount of reagents, but also has less pollution to the environment, reflecting the idea of green chemistry.
