Abstract Based on the construction standard of “golden course” of “two properties and one degree”,student-centered and course ideology and politics teaching concept, teaching process, teaching content, teaching and learning method and evaluation method of the professional elective course “Colloid and Interface Chemistry” were reformed, and gradually formed a kind of teaching mode of “student-centered, the equal importance of learning and application, the fusion of learning and evaluating, the unity of educating people and talent”. The teaching mode reflected the advanced and innovative nature of the course, improved effectively students' class participate and intensity of learning. It also showed the effect of learning for practice, promoting learning from application and comment, which help students to become successful adults.
