In addition to its important uses in metallurgy and batteries, lithium also has important physiological functions and a wide range of medical uses, showing the characteristics of the “small particle, big player”. This paper summarizes the physiological functions of lithium, the medical and clinical application of lithium in external treatment of dermatitis and internal neuroprotection and treatment, as well as the related research progress and future research development.

Blood trace is one of the most important physical evidence at the crime scene, which has both biological and traceologicalcharacteristics, and can provide important clues and powerful evidence for case investigation. The bloodstains at the scene of fire-related cases are affected by various factors such as high temperature, water stains, and soot coverage, and are highly destructive and complex.This article focuses on the bloodstain presumptive test reagents and reviews the research on applying these reagents to visualize bloodstains in fire scene environments. It also explores the luminescence intensity of the enhancement of presumptive test reagents and the soot removal technologies of color visualization.It is hoped that it can provide a certain reference for the crime scene investigation and related research of fire-related cases, and put forward a new direction for the education of analytical chemistry.

This article reviews the history of the construction of instrumental analysis experiment textbook in Fudan University. From the opening of the basic course of undergraduate chemistry, Analytical Chemistry II Experiment (i.e. instrumental analysis experiment) in 1961, to the publication of the textbook Instrumental Analysis Experiment by Fudan University Press in 1986, and to the construction of the revised, second and third editions of the textbook, the teaching experience of several generations has been condensed, forming a thick historical accumulation. Instrumental Analysis Experiment (Third Edition) comprehensively covers the basic experiments in the field of instrumental analysis, and takes actual samples, especially biological and environmental samples as the main objects to reflect the application value of the course. The textbook selects some cutting-edge research achievements and transforms them into undergraduate basic experimental teaching content. The textbook pays attention to the openness of the experimental content, expands the experimental expansion content after the basic experiment, and guides users to carry out enlightening and research-based experimental teaching activities. The textbook strives to integrate knowledge teaching and ability training, so that users can get appropriate training in scientific thinking and research methods. In the future, the content of structural analysis will be selected in the textbooks, and the introduction of analytical instrument technology will be strengthened.

Based on the student-centeredteaching concept and the fundamental task of cultivating morality and cultivating people, the teaching reform and practiceof analytical chemistryare systematically explored from the aspects of teaching contents, teaching resources, teaching platforms, instructional design and comprehensive evaluation. Firstly, the teaching team has created the characteristic teaching content of “innovation-diversification-three integration” to match the needs of different disciplines. And then the teachers have built the online and offline teaching resources of the integration of ideological and political cases of courses. Finally, the “three-dimensional and three-stage” improved BOPPPSE mixed teaching design is adopted to carry out the advanced hierarchical teaching by being supported by the online platform of three-terminal interconnection and the offline classroom of internal and external combination. By being guided by the process and personalized evaluation, the blended teaching can effectively guide students to take the initiative to learn and think deeply, and further improve their learning efficiency. Furthermore, students' overall quality and innovative practice ability are able to be significantly enhanced. We will continue to build the first-class undergraduate course in analytical chemistry and achieve the goal of moral education.

According to the course content and students' learning situation, the analytical chemistry course team of the College of Chemistry & Materials Science of Northwest University has added course tutorials, aiming at cultivating students' ability of independent learning, scientific thinking innovation and independent problem solving. This paper introduces the author's experience in introducing “multi-method” teaching mode in teaching tutorials, and expounds on three aspects: “extending vision, stimulating interest”, “discussing cooperation, promoting communication”, “active thinking, induction and summary”. The application of this teaching mode can provide reference for the classroom teaching of chemistry major, and help to cultivate students' learning initiative, thinking ability and innovation ability.

Based on the construction standard of “golden course” of “two properties and one degree”,student-centered and course ideology and politics teaching concept, teaching process, teaching content, teaching and learning method and evaluation method of the professional elective course “Colloid and Interface Chemistry” were reformed, and gradually formed a kind of teaching mode of “student-centered, the equal importance of learning and application, the fusion of learning and evaluating, the unity of educating people and talent”. The teaching mode reflected the advanced and innovative nature of the course, improved effectively students' class participate and intensity of learning. It also showed the effect of learning for practice, promoting learning from application and comment, which help students to become successful adults.

The core of green chemistry is to use chemical principles to reduce or eliminate the environmental pollution caused by industrial production at its source. The “greening” of a chemical experiment is the inevitable trend of the development of chemical experiment teaching in high schools and colleges. The synthesis of pyrrole derivatives by Paal-Knorr reaction is easily carried out at room temperature without catalyst and solvent, which meets the requirements of green chemistry and thus can integrate the concept of green chemistry into the teaching of basic chemistry experiments. This experiment has low risk, low requirements for instruments, very high success rate and short time-consuming, and thus it is very suitable for teaching experiments in colleges.

Potentiometric titration is employed in the national standard to measure the content of amino acid nitrogen in soy sauces for quality assessment, the method has the advantages of public availability of the instruments and easy operation. However, there are some difficulties in implementing this method in a fundamental teaching laboratory, such as small consumption volume of sodium hydroxide titrant that leads to poor accuracy and long blank calibration time using ordinary pH glass electrode. In this paper, the standard method is modified according to the apparatus available in the fundamental teaching laboratory, with the merits of shorter measuring time and enhanced accuracy and precision. Introducing national standards into undergraduate laboratory experiments can stimulate students' interests in learning, cultivate rigorous and meticulous operation habits, improve the ability of knowledge application, and promote the cultivation of innovative talents.

The traditional organic chemistry experiment course always has the problem of physical space limitation. Through the development of online and offline blended teaching mode, the corresponding optimization of experimental projects, the gradual integration of curriculum ideology and politics, and the evaluation mode of strengthening experimental process, a comprehensive reform of this course has been fully carried out. Through the reform, the goal of “practice, thinking and ability in one” innovative talents has been achieved, and both the teaching effect of experimental course and the quality of students has been comprehensively improved. In addition, the course has been successfully approved as the first-class undergraduate course in Zhejiang Province.

The Professional Competence Standards for Teachers of Normal College Students in Secondary Education (Trial) clearly defines four competence requirements,including “teaching practical ability”, which provides the basis for the training of normal university students. This study refined the structural framework of teaching practice ability of chemistry normal university students, which including three core elements: professional knowledge cognition ability, teaching design ability and teaching implementation ability. Based on the structural framework of teaching practice ability of chemistry normal university students and related research of learning progression, the model of teaching practical ability learning progression of chemistry normal university students is constructed. Meanwhile, this paper explores teaching design and implementation strategy based on teaching practice ability learning progression of chemistry normal college students.

The professional vision of teachers is a capability to use pedagogical content knowledge to focus and explain important interactive events in the classroom, which is the starting point for the generation of teaching practical wisdom. In this study, 7 chemistry preservice teachers were selected as the research objects. A cooperative community was constructed in the educational practice, and a classroom observation tool was designed to listen and evaluate the lessons. Combined with interviews and classroom observation notes, this paper studied the changes of chemistry preservice teachers' professional vision in the process of practice, and explored the influencing factors. It was found that after the educational practice, the selective attention content of preservice chemistry teachers became richer, and the capability of reasoning based on knowledge was improved. Furthermore, the attention objects were shifted from single to multiple. Three factors that influenced the development of the professional vision of chemistry preservice teachers in educational practice were uncovered, including “double tutors” collaborative cultivation mode, classroom observation tools, and real teaching practice. Based on this, some suggestions were put forward to promote the professional development of chemistry preservice teachers.

Chemistry teachers' experimental teaching literacy consists of experimental teaching knowledge, experimental teaching ability, experimental classroom management ability and experimental teaching consciousness. Through a questionnaire survey, 120 chemistry normal college students in Heilongjiang Province were taken as samples, and the experimental teaching literacy level was measured. The results show that chemistry normal college students are too optimistic about their own knowledge, and their practical level needs to be strengthened. Accordingly, relevant suggestions are put forward to cultivate the experimental teaching literacy of chemistry normal college students.

In response to the disconnect between the teaching of titration analysis and the professional core curriculum in higher vocational education, the low interest of students in learning, and the substandard mastery of skills, the course team has explored and practiced the teaching of titration analysis in an entire process occupational situational based on the job requirements of pharmaceutical inspection positions. It has been successfully stimulated student interest in learning, improved student skill specification, and improved classroom quality by developing an entire process occupational situational teaching mode for titration analysis, implementing the “three stages and seven loops” of the entire process occupational situational teaching process, and creating a collaborative and inquiry-based classroom.

In order to effectively integrate the medical chemistry curriculum teaching with the ideological and political education, we persist in the outcome based education concept, focus on student training, and carry out teaching design and practice from the four aspects including syllabus and objectives about the ideological and political education, analysis of learning situation, refining and distribution of ideological and political content, and teaching evaluation. Thus, we have explored a teaching method to promote the integration of ideological and political education and blended teaching, so that students can be guided and shaped by value in the whole process of learning, and realizes the comprehensive cultivation and development of knowledge, ability and quality. The satisfactory teaching result has achieved.

In view of the problems that the experimental content of buffer solution in the basic chemistry course of our school is too simple and the comparison is not obvious, in order to make the students of clinical medicine majors better understand the properties of buffer solution, the author improves the buffer solution experiment, and tries to introduce the pH sensor and the drop sensor in the digital experimental equipment of handheld technology to improve the preparation and properties of buffer solution. The ability of acid resistance, alkali resistance and dilution resistance of buffer solution under different buffer ratios and different buffer total concentrations is compared, and the corresponding pH-V curve is drawn, which is helpful to deepen students' understanding of the nature and function of buffer solution.

In order to enhance the novelty of experiment courses, optimize the design of experiment classes and cultivate the comprehensive abilities of students, experiment teaching activities that integrate fabrication of photosensitive coating, exposure, development and fixing have been established based on photosensitive imaging of thionine. The principles of sensitization and imaging of this photosensitive system have been introduced. The results of photosensitive imaging have been displayed. The content, arrangement and effect of this experiment teaching have been systematically presented. Transfer of digital images to photographic paper by utilizing light and chemical reactions and combination of basic theories, experimental phenomena and feedback contribute to the creativity, interestingness and competency development orientation of the experiment teaching activities.

In this paper, a new method for the determination of catalase activity by dead stop titration was established. In hydrochloric acid medium, the quantitative reaction of ceric ammonium sulfate (Ce4+) with H2O2 is 2∶1. When H2O2 was titrated with Ce4+ standard solution, the activity of catalase was determined by the change of H2O2 before and after enzyme decomposition. The results showed that there was a linear relationship between enzyme activity X and Ce4+standard solution, and the titration volume difference in the range of 0.000~141U ΔV(Ce4+)=0.201 0X-0.067 9. Meanwhile, the correlation coefficient was 0.999 4 and the check out the quantity was 0.400 U. The method was applied to the determination of catalase activity in living tissues of grass carp.

Skilled operation of scientific instruments is the essential capability of the postgraduate of chemistry. In order to integrate the learning and training of scientific instruments into the daily scientific research of postgraduate, an instrument testing platform was built by State Key Laboratory of Supramolecular Structure and Materials and was combined with the postgraduate education. The usage of the instrument testing platform promotes the reform of traditional teaching, learning, and using modes of the scientific instruments, thus improving the teaching quality and using efficiency of the scientific instruments. Practice shows that by the integration of the instrument testing platform, the learning enthusiasm and initiative of the postgraduate is enhanced, which facilitates the postgraduate learning the knowledge of scientific instruments, training their experimental technology, and improving their ability in comprehensive analyzing and solving problems. The reasonable application of the instrument testing platform plays a vital supporting and securing role in the postgraduate education of chemistry.

In this paper, we mainly introduced “the construction of potential energy surface”, an experimental project in national first-class courses molecular simulation experiments of Shandong University. The potential energy surface serves as a bridge between quantum chemistry calculation and molecular dynamics simulation. It is the most important basic concept in molecular simulation, and it involves many concepts in physical chemistry and theoretical chemistry. It's helpful for students to understand the physical meaning by building several typical systems' potential energy surface. At the same time, we combined the case of Deng Conghao, the founder of theoretical and computational chemistry in Shandong University, into the ideological and political elements of the course in order to train students to be realistic and innovative, to help them establishing the correct value of life, national feelings, and consciously assume the responsibility of the country's scientific and technological development.
