Abstract The traditional organic chemistry experiment course always has the problem of physical space limitation. Through the development of online and offline blended teaching mode, the corresponding optimization of experimental projects, the gradual integration of curriculum ideology and politics, and the evaluation mode of strengthening experimental process, a comprehensive reform of this course has been fully carried out. Through the reform, the goal of “practice, thinking and ability in one” innovative talents has been achieved, and both the teaching effect of experimental course and the quality of students has been comprehensively improved. In addition, the course has been successfully approved as the first-class undergraduate course in Zhejiang Province.
