Abstract Blood trace is one of the most important physical evidence at the crime scene, which has both biological and traceologicalcharacteristics, and can provide important clues and powerful evidence for case investigation. The bloodstains at the scene of fire-related cases are affected by various factors such as high temperature, water stains, and soot coverage, and are highly destructive and complex. This article focuses on the bloodstain presumptive test reagents and reviews the research on applying these reagents to visualize bloodstains in fire scene environments. It also explores the luminescence intensity of the enhancement of presumptive test reagents and the soot removal technologies of color visualization. It is hoped that it can provide a certain reference for the crime scene investigation and related research of fire-related cases, and put forward a new direction for the education of analytical chemistry.
