Abstract The scientific research of new fluorescent probes that used for Cu2+ ion analysis was transformed into the expansion experimental teaching of analytical chemistry, which covering structural analysis, qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis. Students can intuitively understand the coordination reaction between fluorescent probes and Cu2+ through the fluorescence “on-off-on” experiment, design and establish new analysis method, explore the complex ratio of fluorescent probe and Cu2+, and finally apply the fluorescent probe technology to actual sample analysis and rapid analysis to encourage them to put what they have learned into practice.
