Abstract Considering the existing problems of analytical chemistry experimental course, we made a teaching, report and evaluation reform trial based on the characteristics of test report from social testing institutions. In this reform trial, analysis of actual samples, the usage of national standards, metrological tracing, report designment and colleague auditing were introduced, which improved students' learning motivation and ability of metrological tracing, report designing and teamwork, laying the solid foundation for their future employment and advanced studies.
