Abstract Based on the emerging achievements in the field of chemical philosophy in recent years,a six dimensional epistemological system of chemistry has been constructed,which includes the practicality of chemical thinking,the duality of chemical concepts,the approximation of chemical laws,the relative autonomy of chemical theories,the asymmetry of chemical language,and the structural interpretation of chemistry.And preliminarily explored its chemical education implications from both ontology and tool perspectives.
