Abstract Stereochemistry constitutes a vital part of organic chemistry; however, its abstract content presents certain difficulties for students to grasp and comprehend. To tackle this issue, teachers can harness the visualization of real-world scenarios, incorporating the diverse three-dimensional structures of “drug molecules”, and adopt a “structure-property-application” correlation model. By guiding students to transition from static to dynamic cognition, teachers can not only surmount the cognitive barriers posed by the abstract nature of stereochemistry but also foster the multifaceted development of students’ core literacies in chemistry.
