Abstract Select “polysaccharides” as the teaching theme in chapter 4,section 1 “carbohydrates” of the elective compulsory course 3 Fundamentals of Organic Chemistry for high school, and carry out project-based teaching on “recycling of waste printing paper”. Through four tasks including “ubiquitous cellulose” “structure and properties of cellulose” “preparation of recycled paper”,and “display of creative works”,we deeply learned about the structure, properties, and uses of cellulose and glucose, the production process of regenerated paper, plant pigments, and other knowledge.
