Abstract Supercritical fluid extraction technique has recently been demonstrated to have many advantages,such as high speed,high efficiency,low pollution and what not over the traditional methods.In this paper the character of Supercritical Fluid is reviewed,the principle and equipment of Supercritical Fluid is introduced,the recent applications of Supercritical Fluid are generalized,the application of Supercritical Fluid in other fields and the research progress of it are also introduced.
