Abstract According to the characteristics of elite-class students, this article proposed a series of measures in the teaching of elemental chemistry experiment, including guiding students to realize the importance of elemental chemistry experiment, strengthening preview, consciously guiding students to pay attention to the effect of reaction conditions on chemical experiment phenomena and products, encouraging students to do inquiry experiments, summarizing experimental results in time, which stimulated elite-class students' learning interests, and cultivated their innovative ability and scientific literacy.
